Who We Want to Work With
We pride ourselves in maintaining the highest standards of tutoring excellence. We are looking for tutors who are not only educators but also mentors and guides who contribute significantly to the academic growth and achievement of their students. All of our tutors:
- Can tutor subjects in the K-12 student age range
- Are dedicated to student satisfaction and success
- Can demonstrate mastery of the subjects they tutor
- Are residents of the U.S. or U.S. territories
- Are active, or state-certified teachers

All tutors must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Currently reside in the U.S.
- Are 18 years or older and Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Have a valid Social Security number
- Enjoy sharing knowledge and making impact
- Very brilliant, and have impressive academic or professional track-records
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills with fluency in the English language
At Tutordel, ensuring equitable compensation for our tutors is very important to us. Our fee structure entails a tutor rate of $30 - $70+ per hour. Tutors will have opportunities to earn more over time. You will be paid every other week.
We have streamlined the application process as much as possible. Signup on our portal as a tutor, and provide us your contact information, education information, work experience documentation etc.
Depending on your provided information, you may be invited to an information session to learn in more detail what Tutordel has to offer. Tutors may also be required to complete a background check where necessary.
We know life can get hectic. Since you have control of your schedule, you can commit to providing as much or as little tutoring as your time allows. There is no minimum number of hours Tutordel requires you to work. You can be as active as you would like.
